SILVER
SULTAN:
2008 TXOLAN COLOR CHAMPION FLEECE! Judges love him, Certified
Fiber Sorters love him, WE love him! Multiple Blue winner &
Color Champion, he's a grandson of Royal Inca Legend and son
of Aladdin of KPR. Each show Judge has had wonderful things
to say about Sultan. At TxOLAN, fleece judge Ruth Elvestad said
something like this: “most days, dark grays never usually take
the Championship over the lighter grays…but not today and not
with this wonderful male. His fleece had
a wonderful healthy silky handle that could only be described
as ‘lotiony’. He is fine and dense with consistent
high frequency crimp. He was well deserving
of the Championship!”
While he started with an 18 micron fleece, it’s important to
note that he is extremely consistent and has held a 22 micron
for the past two years and more importantly, a low SD of 4.5
with his 2nd shearing and 4.8 with his 3rd.
This kind of consistent fine fleeced density is essential
to quality grey and black breeding.

BELLAGIO
OF PVA:
Bellagio has elegance and style. He is a stunning male with
correct conformation and overflows with confidence!

have an improved head style and fiber quality.
His histogram, ate age of 5 and breeding, came in at
21.8 AFD with a SD of 2.9, CV at 17.7 and a comfort factor of
97.1 is very impressive. During his show career, he at placed

XANADU
P. RESOLUTE:
Described by a leading judge as having the “Wow Fleece” of the
2007 GWAS show as she placed him Reserve Champion of 98 white
males. His fleece is simply extraordinary.
At 26 months it tested at 17.1 mic; 3.7 sd and 0.7% +
30 and a mean curvature of 53.7. It’s a rare
“merino type” fleece with a first shear of 12-13 crimps per
inch. Dad, Maple Brook Barnabus (“Mr. Superfine”)
has the lowest alpaca micron ever tested at 12.8 microns with
a 2.6 sd at 12 months. Mom is the full Peruvian
daughter of fawn, Accoyo Don Marcelino, an Accoyo Timteo son.
Superb pedigree/superb male. Resolute is one of the best males
we’ve produced in 15 years of breeding, and we’re proud to donate
this breeding as an example of our “pedigree enrichment” breeding
program.

KAHUNA:
2x Color Champion and
Reserve Color Champion
Kahuna strutted his stuff in the show ring and now has
started his breeding career. All the judges agree: great
density, advanced break away staple organization, fineness
and consistency throughout his blanket.
These qualities pass down from fantastic bloodlines: HPA
Peruvian Don Quixote, Timeteo, Caligula and Don Juan. Kahuna
extends his advanced fleece qualities into strong carriage,
bold presence and supreme coverage. Kahuna's presence is
stunning, he knows he's a herdsire. Advanced fleece, stellar
conformation, solid bone and outstanding coverage.

BARON'S
CONCERTO IN WHITE:
Awesome Acres 'Pacas & Pyrs is proud to offer the services of
our white Suri Herdsire Baron's Concerto In White. 'Connie'
is a son of the legendary, late Peruvian Baron and our own Camilla,
now owned by Sparks Ranch. He is 3/4 Accoyo, exhibiting the size,
mass, and bone density of his sire. His conformation is extremely
correct. But his wonderful, fine white fleece is what continues
to draw attention, and win ribbons at the age of 6 years.
At the height of his show career, as a yearling, Connie won
Color Champion at TxOLAN, Reserve Color Champion at the first
GWAS, and placed 5th in an exceptionally strong white yearling
class of 15 at the AOBA Nationals. At that show he was cited
as having the 'best luster in the class', and Suri breeders
know how important that is. Following his show ring career,
Connie continued to win numerous firsts, championships, Judge's
Choice, and Best Luster awards at fleece shows around the country.
Most recently, in August 2008, he placed 4th in a class of 9
mature white entries at the 3rd Suri Network All Suri Fleece
Show in Estes Park.
Connie has 4 offspring on the ground, ranging from white to
medium fawn, 100% Suri. He faithfully exhibits the ability to
pull color from the dam's sire, when he is bred to a white dam
who is the offspring of a colored sire. With the passing of
Baron and Baron Lafitte, Concerto's genetics are some of the
most sought-after of all the white Suris in this part of the
country. At Awesome Acres 'Pacas & Pyrs, every breeding
comes with a Suri Guarantee.

MERCURY
MARQUIS:
Mercury Marquis, ARI # 822755 is a fourth generation medium
silver. Coming from the phenomenal bloodlines of Platinum
Marquis and Uma, he was bound to be great from the moment of
conception.
Mercury's sire, Platinum Marquis, ARI # 850795 owned by Brad
and Jandy Sprouse, Great Lakes Ranch, has proven himself
nationally in the show ring, 2004, with 3 Championships and
Reserve Championships at the three largest shows in North
America, AOBA, AAA Futurity and MAPACA. His luster and lock
are so remarkable that many breeders ask if he is an accoyo.
He is a full Peruvian with accoyo blood from his dam's (Silverbelle)
side (Bruxo, Uribe, and Helios). Silverbelle was the Reserve
Grey Color Champion at both AOBA and AAA Futurity in 2002 as
well as the highest selling suri alpaca at the 2002 AOBA
National Auction. Platinum Marquis sire, Silver Marquis, is
a deep gunmetal silver grey, a product of two silver grey
parents, Silver King and Silver Gem. Platinum Marquis, a
third generation silver grey suri, sired his first crop of
crias born in 2006. All of them are colored suri's (most of
them silver grey) with excellent lock and luster.
At shearing this year (May 08), Mercury was said to be a
fiber machine. Over 9 inch staple length! We were told to
shear this guy twice a year from now on as fiber can not be
processed when it is that long. After shearing, the luster
on Mercury was exposed and what luster it is! This boy
shines like the morning sun. He is just gorgeous. Judge
Shannon McConnell, at the Ok Blast Off show Jan 08, told me
Mercury had more luster than is usually seen on a grey, and
judge McConnell said Merc was his favorite animal out of the
group that was in the ring.
We can not wait to see what Mercury Marquis produces, as he
has all 3 of the silver grey shades in his fiber. As this
boy matures he just get's better and better. I can not go to
my pasture and not spend time just gazing at the marvelous
stature, size, luster, bone, and fiber on this guy. After
shearing, his lock structure is even better than before. He
is amazing!
